She needed some instruction on how to use the distance to go to start the first tool but after a few practice runs she has the concept now.

Karla knows the control very well and has a good understanding of how to use single block and the distance to go positions screen too safely start a program that she has not ran before.
She checked the chuck jaws indicator to make sure that the part is clamped in the chuck correctly.
She has very little experience loading a part in a chuck but did a good job making sure that the jaws were clean and that the part was against the stop when closing the chuck.
