Sam,

           Had no previous experience with operating machines but followed direction well on how to load the stock in the chuck.  He knew the control buttons and demonstrated that he could start the program safely using single block.

He passes the hands on final but could use some practice running the machine.

Student needs more exposure to running and operating a machine but has demonstrated competency as an operator.

Of particular note, the student should focus on driving the machine rather than letting the machine run away from him.
