Radik,
Knows the has control very well and had no problem picking out the stock to be used. Hasn’t worked on machine but was very exited to learn now to load the part in the chuck and how to use the distance to go positions display to start the program safely. After practice using the distance to go he has it down where he can start the program safely to verify the offsets are correct. He follows instructions well and would make a great operator with some more practice.
He passes the hands on final with little previse experience.
-Ernie Simmons
Student successfully loaded a program, tooling, and workpiece. Checked coolant level, no adjustment required. Initial run with single block and rapid reduced to prove program, and part. Ran a second part at production speeds creating a part in specification. Student demonstrated caution and care while operating Haas ST10.

Orville,
Knows the control and machine features extensively. He wasn't as comfortable with running the lathe as he was the mill but did great loading the part in the chuck, used the distance too go position to start the new program safely. He would be able to run production on the mill with no problems.
Orville passes the lathe operator hands on final with flying colors.
